New Pen and Ink Day

Made my first trip to Bertram’s Inkwell in Rockville today. I had to show great restraint because next weekend is the DC Pen Show then I’m going to Stationery Fest the weekend after that. I managed to leave with only one new ink and a notebook!

I picked up Nitrogen Royal Blue from Organic Studios and a small Rhodia notebook. 

Even better, a new pen was waiting for me when I got home. I’d backed a Kickstarter campaign months ago from Ensso, a company out of Huntington Beach and it was delivered today. It’s a titanium, bolt action, retractable fountain pen with a medium nib. Writes super smooth and looks pretty cool too!
