Ding Dong

I live in Alexandria, Virginia. It’s a city of about 160,000 people. I rarely feel like I live in a city when I’m at home though. I live in Old Town, which is the historic district. 

This morning’s dog walk felt like a little European village. No cars were out. Brick sidewalks. And the Catholic Church bell was ringing the time. Dong dong dong …
