I tried using my Lamy 2000 again. Everybody raves about them. I’ve tried three times now. The first time it skipped a lot. I figured it’s because I’m a leftie so I tried holding it differently with limited success. The second try I used a wetter ink and it ended up burping a lot. I’d write and get a huge extra drop of ink in some of my words. This time the ink was just straight up leaking out the nib.
It can probably be fixed. And I’ll probably try it some time (I’ve never done repairs on any of my pens; haven’t needed to). But for now I’m just fed up. So I inked two new pens.
